Yardlet Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Yardlet is free software under the MIT License. These terms add a few rules for its online services: this website, the update feed and the phone remote's relay.
What these terms cover
- The Yardlet app for macOS.
- This website,
yardlet.app. - The update feed at
https://yardlet.app/appcast.xml, which Yardlet reads to check for new versions. - The relay at
relay.yardlet.app, which passes end-to-end encrypted messages between Yardlet and a phone you pair with it.
The app and its license
Yardlet is free, and its source code is published under the MIT License. Using, copying, changing and sharing the code is governed by that license. These terms only add rules for the online services listed above.
Your accounts and agents
Yardlet starts the agent CLIs you have installed, such as Codex and Claude Code, under your own accounts. Your use of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub, Slack and any other service you reach through Yardlet is governed by that service's own terms, and you are responsible for following them.
How Yardlet handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
The relay
The relay is provided as it is. It may change, slow down or stop at any time.
Do not misuse it. For example, do not attack it, overload it, or use it to carry traffic that has nothing to do with Yardlet. If you do, the developer may limit or block your use of it.
No warranty
Yardlet, this website, the update feed and the relay are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from or in connection with them or their use.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Earlier versions are in the history of this page.
